The race is Saturday Oct. 14th @ 1:30 and is being held this year at Heartland Park in Topeka, KS.

Forum member jmark will be there taking action photos and I’m sure will report back to members on how the Zs are doing, but I was curious if anyone is planning on attending?
If you are considering racing, you owe it to yourself to visit the Runoffs and see the wide array of makes/models/level of prep/etc…truly an extraordinary and exiting event!

I met Joe at PIR Friday doing a test and tune. Gorgeous car...

 

It's a Z, what did you expect??!!

 

Counting down the days Jason! I'll be out there on Sunday. When you heading out to HPT?

 

Good luck gentlemen... of course I'll be rooting for you all... just play nice with each other.

 

It should be a great event and looks like a decent track for the Z. I'm sure that the Zs will play nicely with each other - I'm just worried about all of the other cars.

If you are able to make it, be sure to stop by and yourself. If you can't see the race in person, it will be broadcast on speed sometime this winter.

The wife and I will be there to spectate on Saturday and Sunday. One good thing about the move to HPT is that the Runoffs are finally within a decent drive for me. Mid Ohio was just too far for me to consider driving all the way out just to watch.

 

Most likely, I'll be there Friday night. Have a safe trip and see ya on Sunday!
