You guys just saved me a lot of research. (Group hug anyone?) If there's any SSR's left, I will try to secure them. Did you get the 35mm offset? Anyone know if a smaller offset is available? (I tried my 18x9.5's with a 25mm offset up front and they fit fine). I want to get the 17x9.5's from Tire Rack with Kumho 710's mounted.

I believe the 35 offset is the only one available (at least, as shown by tirerack's website). Per daveh's posts, a 5mm spacer up front is needed for 275 RA1's to fit without any contact on the inner sidewall. The section width of the 710 is different and may require a slightly larger spacer to accomodate it. My experience is that RA1's are a little smaller in 'real' size when compared to the same 'advertised' size (ie 275/40-17) in another brand.

Anyone running 710's on either comp-h's (17x9.5 +35) or another wheel in the same size?

I run the Enkei RPF1's 17x9 +35 with V710's and in the front the the tire rubs the control arm slightly under hard turns. It's not enough to do any damage, but I would deff run at least a 5mm spacer to have the proper clearance.

Hoosiers also fit with the SSR's. Funny, I thought they would be wider than my toyos but they're not.

Informative post. Actually brought something to my attention.

What do you guys think of the enkei NT03+M in

18x9.5 +27 all around or with a 10.5 +30 option in the rear.

would this be a track worthy fitment in a good offset?

I know these wheels are pretty strong and quite affordable.

Enkei??? WTF! what happened to AME!

The sizing is a little weak... you should try some lower offsets or some RPF1's which are lighter. 10.5 +15 and 9.5 +12 is good for looks, add +5mm all around if you plan on maxing out the widest tire sizing.

Well AME doesn't really have an affordable lightweight one piece wheel.

We already stock the RPF1 18x9.5 +15 and 10.5 +15 fitment as regularly as possible. This other fitment is the lowest offset available in the NT03+M.

Well the Tracer is definitely being discontinued because it utilizes old technology from Enkei, not the new MAT you hear about. We are uncertain if they will produce a one piece wheel nor what its price point will be at. enkei Racing series is very well priced, cheaper than in Japan even if you compare Yen retail to US retail.

this is where we ran into issues. Naturally the 19" Tracer Spec M, as it is MAT, will remain current, but the smaller diameters will not.

Man, whenever you want those enkeis i'll give you a super phat deal in exchange for a SUPER PHAT props on the board, review points are my friend. That goes for any of the Z boys.

laters.

Thanks for that! I've seen a couple of possible designs for the "new" tracer and I think they're going to be HOT! Can't wait to see them come over in some 17/18" sizes... I'll hit you up for the RPF1's after the New Year.

To revive the SSR Comp H 9.5 with 35mm offset discussion for a minute, I just tried mine on the fronts with 17/40/275 Kumho 710's and they rub the uprights. I doubt that a 5mm spacer will be enough taking into account further mods such as additional camber and a BBK with thinner rotor hats. I'm going to try 10 mm spacers and longer wheel studs.

Why don't you try using studded KICS spacers, that way you don't have to deal with pressing studs and so forth.

They make studded 10, 15, 20, and 25mm ones which can be made hubcentric.

Let me know if you're interested in those. They will be less costly in the long run since no real labor is involved.

I run 7x9.5 17s all around. Offset in front is 27, back is 17. Fit perfect and look flush.

Default Enkei Wheels

Hines Group Motorsports will become Enkei dealers after the first of 2007. We have been so impressed with their wheels on our T-2 350Z that we decided we would spread the word and become dealers. Discounted prices for 350Z.com list members of course. We are also taking orders for take-off Kumho 710's in the 18" size. We have a couple of set left over from the runoffs for sale. Contact me in mid January for Enkei pricicng. Bob HInes 703-471-4774 before 9 pm EST. And a Happy Racing New Year to everyone.

Well, I tried on the 17x9.5 SSR's with Kumho 710 17/40/275 and a 10 mm spacer up front. That makes a 25 mm offset in total. I have a stock suspension except for sway bars. The tires stick out just a bit, and I am kind of concerned about rubbing the fender wells under hard cornering during autocrosses. The inside of the tires have maybe a 5-8mm gap separating them from the uprights, so that is of no concern. Eventually some aftermarket A arms will allow me to tuck in the tires a little.

In the meantime, does anyone know from experience if I will rub my fenders?

It really shouldn't rub with those sizes, but I'm getting the impression that the Kumho 710 is a wide tire. I used to run 265/35/18 Yokohamas up front on a stock car with lower offset wheels and no rub. Do you plan to lower the car at all? When you do the front will camber in and you won't have any problems. You could always switch out the spacer for a 5 or 8mm also.
