BTW... everyone who runs their car at a race track will have some kind of encounter with a wall or a roll over. Its just a matter of when.
I'm finding that to be more realistic as some of my friends are now kissing into walls and running into other mishaps. One of my usual instructors rolled his e36 M3 in a race.
About 8 months ago, I installed a new suspension and sure enough, I spun out embarrasingly bad during my first day with the setup. The only difference between my incident and John's is that mine didn't involve a wall. I was just lucky, but next time, I might not be so lucky. I did learn something from that incident, so hopefully, it has made me wiser.
Here she is - left a deposit and bringing her home next week. 05 Elise with a Tri-Point S/C and Ohlin coilovers. I told myself I was going to take a break for awhile and save some money, but who am I fooling? 1950lbs. and currently ~200rwhp with some other goodies like a hard top and such. All it needs is an intercooler, harness bar, and some race pads, and it's time for lift-off!

Man, that's like the shortest "break" I've ever heard of.
Great choice, and congrats on your new purchase! Post lap time comparisons when you get used to the new beastie.
