Ugh. Run -- don't walk -- to someplace that can seam-weld the bumper reinforcement brackets. The single spot weld won't hold, even with "gentle" driving. Hit a pothole or a severe bump with the trailer, and you'll snap that spot weld so quick you're head will spin (don't ask me how I know).
