Anyone going to be there besides me? I still haven't decided if I am taking the Z or the Spec Miata but I am going. Probably end up in the Miata unless I get some time to do some brake upgrades to the Z.

I was wondering if I should use my street tires or get some R-Compounds. My Sears Roadhandlers are looking a bit worn but I have heard that once on the tread is gone they get real fast. Less tread squirm to deal with.

 

I havent registered yet, But it's on my list.

Never been to Mid O so not sure of the paddock configuration but if I can keep my RV close enough to the garages then sharing would be great. If not I probably will just pull the car up to the RV.

Either way I'll be grilling dead meat for lunch both days, so try to stop by and grab a burger.

 

Not sure you'll be able to park the RV in the paddocks. But I'll be around for burgers ! Aha

I might even try camping if the showers are open (if I can fit a tent in the Z...)

Checked with Mark (Chin General Manager) and we have to clear out of the Paddock each night. No camping allowed at the event.

 

I'll probably be driving home (Columbus) at night then.

Kolia - it looks like I will be going to Mid-Ohio after all, yet with the Grand-Am race next month, since all the modifications I did to the ST #63 car made it qualify 3rd and set the fastest lap recorded during the race at Luguna Seca. So if you aren't busy come to the race and look for me in the pits with Roar Racing.

Your ticket gets you in the Paddock & Garages, but you have to be a driver or crew member to get into the pits.
