pics of my autopower roll bar and track wheels.
I've had the bar for a couple of weeks and I finally got around to taking pics while I was getting ready for a track event.
The bar is a Autopower race roll bar with removeable harness and cross bar. The main hoop is welded in. I got it because it doesnt limit the passenger seat room as much, plus I can take out the cross bar completly to regain all of the leg room.
here are my track wheels. 17x9 el cheapo MB motorings with 275 Hankook Z212 R's.
2 degrees negative, I'm not running adjustable arms as of now.
Boring street wheels. Car is a little higher in this pic since I just took it off the jack.

Bar looks great Jim!
Now... until you get some proper race seats in there, take those sub straps and run them from behind the seat, through the joint, so you're sitting on them when seated.

I have yet to see a bolt in roll bar that appears to be safe..This one looks as if in the event of a roll over, or side impact, you will bounce your head off the bar, causing injury. The seat needs to be way up for this roll bar to not come in contact with your helmet from what I can see..

Depending on the track or the sanctioning body running the event, you'll probably have to put some SFI padding on the bar in areas where its possible for your helmeted head to contact it. And seat backs move 3 to 6" rearward in a hard impact or roll over. Push on the seat as hard as you can and then figure it will move back another 6". That will give you an idea of how much it moves.

John is right, pad the bars that are anywhere near you. Use the high density padding, not that spongy junk. You would be very suprised how far the human body will stretch in a really hard hit. Pad everywhere around you head, shoulders, and legs. You can install the padding with tie-wraps. The high density stuff come with adhesive inside, but you dont have to permantly glue the stuff in if you tie the wraps tight enough.

Kirk and autopower make "kits."
The Kirk is a bolt in roll bar, but it limits the passenger room a great deal.
The autopower has to be welded in, but it gives you more passenger room, plus you can bolt out the harness and the cross bar to give you more room.
If you want anything else you can always go custom for a little more $$$.
