Anyone use Wheel Spacers at the Track?
Here's why I'm asking:-
I did a test-fit of some project kics spacers today. There is a set of lug nuts that bolt the spacer to the hub. A second set of lug nuts (your usual wheel lug nuts) bolts the wheel to the spacer. At the track, I always make it a habit to re-torque my lugs between sessions. However, with spacers, it looks like it is necessary to have to re-torque BOTH sets of lug nuts. This would be a pain, when at the track.
What do you folks you run spacers at the track do? Or are there other alternatives to this?

Several people make spacers, we bought our from TC Kline in Hilliard, Ohio. They are the bolt on type and come with new slightly longer, but also stronger wheel studs. We torque them at 80#'s. It really doesnt matter what wheel spacers you put on, its just that the bolt on type don't fall off and get lost. Once they are on you don't need to torque them again. The H & R spacers are also excellent quality.

So I guess, consensus is that I should do away with the Project Kics style spacer, and go with ones where the studs hold both the spacer and wheel together thus only needing a single set of lug nuts per wheel...right?
(still trying to get my head on straight on this
