it's okay, sometimes its easier to go faster when someone is in front of you. there is a lot of pressure to go fast in the two laps they give you.

oh hi matt, thats why the name sounds familar. good to see you back with CART again.

You can run a XT timer or a Longacre one, there are transponders on the track. I use a GPS logger now. If you want to join me at Shenandoah or at the Glen or LRP this year, i will log you guys too

xtracing.com

about 180 for unit

40 for beacon

you will need it if you run other groups that dont have it.

thats the cheapest. i used to use the stop watch on the car, but hard to use it in traffic. i now do sectior time, so i can see my best lap in theory minus traffic.

just change pads and fluid. do you have the 2 piston.

i used everything. only castro srf and wilwood work wekl on this car. i get fade in everything else.

For a short term solution, you can get a set of race pads, really good brake fluid and a set of SS brake lines. I lost one because of heat. THe car stops no matter what, it's just a matter of how many laps you can hold it. I can do a max. of 10 continous minutes before the car goes away. When I try to set hotlaps, I usually save the car and then get on it.
