The sumitomo HTR ZII's are great priced for regular daily driving or drifting, although they tend to wear out fast. The ZIII's I havnt had a chance to test them out yet, you guys got me curious now

I've probably had these tires on for about 300 miles now. I think they're pretty nice, especially considering its low price. They're pretty sticky and they do very well in the rain, it seems. The car is a bit easier to control (in addition to better grip in the dry and rain) with these on, compared to my Nitto NT555 ZR Extremes.

They weren't kidding about the road noise. It's a bit louder than all other tires I've used (Yokohama, Nitto, Falken, Pirelli, Michellin, etc)

I don't do RR/AutoX, so I'm not sure if my opinion even matters, but just letting you guys know that these tires are pretty damn good, especially since it's so damn cheap.

the kuhmo ecsta mxs are very good, and popular tires. Ive felt how sticky then are as well. I have had falken azenis rt-615s toyo t1rs and now nitto invos. My favorite have been the invos. I know advan makes some badasssss tires.

I was really considering getting a set of the MX's but they're not so great in the rain. According to Tireack the HTRZ III's are good in the rain. So if they are just as sticky as the Kumho's and don't have a soft sidewall, I would rather have the Sumitomos especially for a lower price.

MX has great rating in the rain... I gurantee you

I just went through the most bizzare summer in the world here in central texas. 29 inches of rain ddropped in the summer. I have a 120 mile commute through it all. Some days it droped 4-7 inches.

PS i have MX 275s on the front and 315 nittos drag radials on the rear....

My MX is very sticky when i get off the highway

The HTRZ II's are awesome tires at least for drag racing. I got 1.7 60 foot times with them in my 98 Z28, they have a thread wear rating of 220, really stick but wear out fast.
