From what i've been told the spring rates are surprisingly low, I'll confirm before posting anything though.

We will test a lot of different springs (hopefully anyways) I would imagine Mosport will be asking for a much softer spring than three rivers for example.

New wheels came in, I think this is the fastest i've ever got wheels, I want to say thanks to racerbob we got them fast, at a good price and communication was always great. I think bob was tracking the ups shipment more often than I was!

17x9.5 +18 F
17x10 +18R

in pictures 17x10 all around:

up next is converting back to a stock ecu for grand-am, and send it out for paint. Shocks are being rebuilt and then we're just about ready for testing!

The car still has the M800 in it, i wish i didn't have to get rid of it!

when we get the car running with the factory computer we're selling the M800 back to steve in exchange for a bunch more parts from him

Are those Stoptechs 355mm or 332mm? I am wondering if the 17" RPF1 clear the 355mm Stoptech brakes with ST40 calipers.

The brakes are 355mm and honest to god the caliper JUST clears the wheel. I would say no more than 1mm of clearance!

Here is the only picture I have with the wheels right now. Tires are mounted now though so I'll have to get some pics. Soon!

Ordered a few bumpers and then the car is going to go in for paint. Then its stock ECU time and the car is ready to rock!

Sasha,

We're getting the NISMO bodywork for our Grand Am GS cars. Send me an email if you're interested in running the new bodywork on your car. Much better aero dynamics and it actaully produces downforce. You've got my email.

You might want to hold off on the paint!! ;-)

Are you talking about the Nismo 350Z body kit?

Yes, the new Nismo 350Z body kit. We can only make it available to racing, drift, and time attack cars though.

Cool. I own a street version. I understand the bodywork produces downforce at speeds as low as 70 mph.

Can we have a sneak peak? I'd like to see the Nismo body kit on a race car.

As soon as we get it done. We've got to make the molds, and then make the parts.

Rich- does this mean you'll be making fiberglass or CF NISMO body parts for Koni Cup?

Not sure if you're aware, but you can now source genuine Nismo 350Z body parts.

Maybe. But the OEM urethane (spelling?) will be more expensive than what we can produce. Also won't be able to take a hit or be repaired like Carbon/Kevlar.

More news on this project later next week.

The body parts are off for the epoxy mold making process.

We have the front bumper cover, rear bumper cover, rear wing and side skirts.

Hmm, Carbon/Kevlar. You should sell those, probably be a good market for them.

Oh and didn't know urethane was more expensive than carbon/kevlar.

SGSash,

I sent you a PM asking about the 17 inch wheels fitment but I might as well as here.
Have you run the car with this etup already? I'm interested in running 17's with 355 Stoptech setup but I'm worried about clearance when braking.
Any info would be good.
Thanks!
