T-2 Runoffs race is on at noon on SPEED wednesday 9 January. Drivers in Nissan 350Z's are Rob Hines - brickyard car 14, Jason Henderson - blue 99, Ken Dobson - silver 3, Joe Hermes - silver 12, Spencer Gorham - silver 2.

Hines ran fastest race lap and was crashed early, best finish by a Z was Dobson in 5th place followed back a little by Henderson.

All the above drivers will return for the 2008 season except for Dobson who sold his car.

DAMNIT!! i have been waiting for this to show again and still didn't catch it in time. I may have the DVR set to record all SCCA Runoff's, but dont' know for sure. I may have to take a LONG lunch today

that was a blown motor.

 

Sadly, Jim lost a couple of motors this year. He has been using both 3,000 cc and 3500 cc motors. Thats a really nice car and Jim is a very good driver.

awww finally got to watch the T2 race last night after work. Rob looked like he had a good car. Either he was a little over zealous and tried to dive down a little early or the other driver was pissed.....either way, good race!

 

I stand corrected. I remember the announcer saying it was the motor - when it happened. I suppose it is possible that I didn't pay close enough attention to the actual cause. That's what I get for playing poker online and watching TV at the same time.
