I still kick myself that I never drove on Laguna Seca while I lived in the Bay area... now I'll have to make a trip down there from Seattle (but it'd still be worth it!)

have fun!

Had a blast there, saw Ed there too in the G35.

Half empty track and clear day.

Next track day is April 7th Monday with Speedventures again.

Nick, saw you out there on the track. I was in the Red group and never got a chance to drive on the same session as you. I was doing the lead/follow in the Black 350Z with the Stillen. Did you get any times?

roger, were you over by the registration room, where the bottled water was? i did get some times...i think my fastest was 1:51. i had to constantly lift between 5 and 6. i got popped for sound (93.7dB) on the first session

i "tightened up some gaskets" and went out for a sound test...it dropped down to 92.9dB and they said i was good to go. i wanted to go b@lls out on the last session, but i started running out of gas

i'm thinkin' i could've dipped into the high 1:40's. i was just glad i got to stick around (whew).

Yeah, that was me by the registration area. I was elected to teach the beginners so I was on the track in the Limited and Red group all day. Glad to hear you were able to stay as that is a long drive up. My RT-615's got really greasy the last two sessions for some reason. I think i actually dropped the pressures too low. They were happier around 40-41 hot, when they were dropped to 37-38 hot they tires were way greasier and all over the place. I am still debating whether to keep these or maybe change to the RE-01R's. Which tires were you running?

yeah, everytime i saw you, you were either driving out, or driving in as i was driving out, or something!

i was running Kumho Ecsta MX's. i was at around 38 hot pretty much all day, all around. the car really seems to like it there. one session though, the rears were real greasy for a couple of laps. i checked the pressure, and it was still the same. i have been using them for about 7-8 track days so they may be getting close to the end. they still have a lot of tread though. i'm thinking either RA-1's or NT01's next.
