Two-piece rotors with OEM Brembo
Anybody have any pros and cons with using either Stop-Tech, DBA or RB
tow piece rotors. The DBA's are very pricey I think compared to the others.
Looking to replace my track rotors with two piece and have seen the Racing Brake website. Wanted to see if anybody has any input either way.
Thanks

Con: you have to assemble the replacement rotors yourself.
Pro: usually lighter with better cooling. Replacements can be cheaper.
I had the Stoptech e pieces on my Z Track.

from what i have read, there really isn't a big advantage between the companies that you mentioned. the thermographic paint on the DBA's is just a convenience, but really not that helpful. i hope they are not more expensive because of it.
all of the pro's that kolia mentioned are probably the best, especially since it has to do with cooling and weight. the con isn't really that big of a deal - if you really didn't want to do it yourself, you could get a company (ie-zeckhausen) to do it for you.

i have brembos and run the stoptech 2-piece slotted rotors in front and
1-piece slotted in rear
i had some serious overheating problems on track days before i did this
and now can at least stay out for 25-30 minutes during my session
before they start to get hot-before the stockers were starting to get
hot in no time-i also upgraded to motul 600 fluid(but thinking of changing
to castrol srf blue stuff-heard it is better)and upgraded my brake lines
as well

For those with two piece rotors are they lasting as long as say OEM rotors?
