Default Best retail shop for part???

After 5 years & 52K miles on my Z, I think is about time to track my Z. As many of you know, once our Z see the track, thousand of dollars will be spent each year just for maintenance . In order to buy more track time, it is important to save some money for part! Anyway, the frist up-grade I want to do is Stoptech SS brake line & Hawk HP+ pad for my non-Brembo brake, where can I go to get the best deal? Also, which website can I get the best deal on OEM parts?

Thanks

i bite my tongue....

in NC the Z doesn't cost nearly that much to maintain. I only track it a couple times a month and not competitively however.

asking which store is best to by some mods is ridiculous. Thats like asking which Z is the best car. You are going to either get countless number of smart remarks or a hundred different shops that people use. Before everyone chimes in let me beat them to and tell you to go to the Classified section of this forum and start looking around there. Everything you need from new to used, private to vendor sales. Infact i'm so nice here is the link.. https://my350z.com/forum/marketplace-78/

use your own judgement on pricing and likeability. Oh and before others jump on this part as well...save your money on modding past SS lines, brake fluid, and light duty pads. Spend your money on seat time for a good year first.

g/l........ still biting my tongue

Billhyco,

Don't get too excited! I am just trying to get a referral on parts purchase. This is the main purpose of forum (sharing info, tech and good deal), right! Anyway, this is my fourth year on DE! I am a group 3 student with NASA, just never have a chance to track my Z!

If you want to talk to someone who races Z's instead of a salesman call up N-Tech Engineering. Nick the owner is a great guy and a proffesional driver and can help you with anything you need. He is a Stoptech/Motul dealer and can get you the lines and brake fluid you need plus he can supply pads. I like to support companies that go out and race the Z and then can provide useful recomendations for parts that work. His website isn't a storefront, but you can call him and get what you need.

For OEM parts. Try www.mynismo.com aka performance Nissan.

Less talking, more searching. The info is out there. Just because you waited to mod your car doesn't mean that the world waited with you. You couldn't possibly be the first person to start a thread like this.......could you.

Hint: Marketplace
