Yes, I think a 295 will fit front and rear....I have plenty of room with the 275/40

I didnt take any up close pics of the inside of the fenders. I'm running wider wheels and tires this year so I had to pull the fenders out quite a bit.
If you do roll the fender lip make sure to trim the tab that holds the fender liner or you will get an ugly bump on the fender. The flattened lip will hold the liner up just fine and it will look alot better from the outside.

Performance wise, how wide is too much?
I was thinking about 275/40/17 all around but haven't pulled the trigger yet as I am still debating with myself whether I want to do that or stagger the setup for the track. I believe the FN01RC 17X10+25 will fit ok with those tires. Do you guys think that 275 up front is ok or too much grip possibly slowing the ride down?
Thanks...

I've taken delivery of THREE out of the FOUR FN01R-C 17x10 wheels (thanks for losing one, FedEx!), but they just cut a check to replace the lost one. Now I'm trying to figure out the best way to utilize this new set of wheels and a new set of Enkei RP01s in 17x9.5 +35. Two sets of wheels need to serve autox for the Z33 and track for both the Z32 and Z33, so I have some math to finish crunching. Right now I'm thinking I'll order a pair of 295/35/17s - which I'm confident will fit the rear - and test fit them on the front (FN01R-Cs). If they fit, then order two more for the rear; if they don't, then size-down to 275 fronts. The 295/35/17s are slightly taller than the 295/30/18 set-up discussed earlier, and almost 1.5" smaller than OE height for the front, so it'll be close. I was hoping for an even larger rear tire for autox, but with no 305s available, I don't have high-confidence that the 315/35/17 will fit in the rear. Any takers?

Update:
I bought a dedicated Z33 track car versus turning our ZR into a DD/track car.
It already has TEIN coilovers with EDFC, sway bars, some go-fast goodies, etc. The previous owner said it could be lowered more, but wasn't sure of the exact drop in the current state. I plan to add SPC rear adj arms so we can dial the camber in a bit.

I was going to bump this thread today...glad to see it's still going.
I just fit 17x9 +15 on all four corners...still running 255F 275R 615's...everything fits nice and no rubbing.
Can I fit the 275 up front also? Looking to finally run a square setup. I just changed out the +35 fronts to the +15's.
