Default Anyone using Koni 2812's

I was interested in a new set of shocks. Is anyone running these? I would like to see some pics of these with 350Z mounts if anyone has them.

Few of the GA cars were running Koni 2822's. Mounts are the same. I have a few pics of the 2822's on GA cars, but nothing detailed about the mounts. What was it you were specifically trying to see? Truechoice will sell you a set, I talked with Phil about it a few years back. Koni also sells a set of 2812's specifically for the 350Z now, so you could also buy direct from Koni NA.

I just wanted to see the shock in 350Z form. If you have some pics post em up.

I Talked to Phil as well and know True Choice will make a coilover rear for you if you request it. Will Koni do the same?

The two GA cars I've seen used the OEM location, and just had standard pillowball upper mounts. The bodies are threaded, so you could put a lower spring perch on it if that's what you're thinking. Might not want pillowball mounts though if you were going to mount the spring on the damper, see if you can get a coaxial upper mount for the spring instead. As far as what Koni will do for you, give them a call and ask.

We're running the 2812s. If I get a chance this weekend, I'll take some pics. We'll be pretty tied up with the race, so don't use me as your first choice.

How much are the 2812's ready to go onto the car, with all the mounting hardware, spring perches, etc.? and what kind of springs would you pair them up with? Swift/ERS/Nismo T2?

The rears are plug and play. We had to make a front spacer as the body didn't thread all the way up for the spring. We went with 2 1/4" springs all the way around. Overall, I really like the 2812s.

We run Eibach and HyperCo springs. Would recommend the Eibach.

Good stuff Rich... I would love to see some pics of the front and rear when you get a chance. Did you go with a coilover rear or the OEM spring location? Spring rates?

Sorry, JetPilot, forgot about the pics. I'll get some next time we have our hands on the car. It's in Ohio right now, but I'll see it in the next week or so.
