PDX_Racer - 3rd in BS (amongst a sea of those pesky 8's, he was able to pull out a stellar 2nd day to grab 3rd from a class of 15!)
First350 - 1st in BSP (2.8s ahead of 2nd place...but still slower than 1/2 the CSP miatas!
)
Packwood National Tour results: http://www.scca.com/popup/raceresult...12142&file=343
Overall, it was a great event - Saturday was on the hot side (90's), while Sunday cooled off and flirted w/ the idea of rain...luckily only a few drops fell during competition.
....wish there would have been more 350Z/G35's out there...
The Packwood ProSolo is this next weekend - anyone else making the trip out there??? The late fees have been waived!

Saturday's course "walked" like a power course -- it was anything but (I couldn't get power down *anywhere*) so I had to switch to "precision" mode and stay close (well, that and compromise my line on the fastest part of the course due to a puncture in the outside rear tire that dropped 6 PSI over about 3 minutes of time -- talk about nerve wracking!)
Sunday's course "walked" like a technical course -- I would say that it was, "schizophrenic" -- a combination of insane moments followed by precise sections.
First350 is being incredibly modest -- he PAXED 14th out of 249 (I could only manage 32nd).
One thing about it, the 350Z is getting noticed, both in BS and BSP!

thnx guys! One of my driving forces was last yr when I got a ride in PDX_racer's Z...he easily beat my times (he's BS, I'm BSP...so I 'should' be quicker) - being able to see what he can do in his Z made me push harder this yr!
Ruff Z - I have an event in Bremerton in 2 weeks...let me know if you want to drive, we could work something out.

^ I agree. Stiffer chassis, better spring rates as well as lowered a bit. I would think it would be an ideal basis for a race car. SCCA turned it down in T2 Club Racing however......
