I just found out that my dad lives close to Texas Speedway. It would be cool to go visit and run an HPDE or something while I'm there. Does anyone on the board run there? I saw a nice Z with a wing being trailered out of College Station, so somebody has experience there. Is there a local NASA presence?

There are a few of us here who are track "regulars" (read: addicts). I'm one, as is sfarrah above. I make just about every driver's edge event at TWS (www.thedriversedge.net), and I try to make the TWS motorsport club events too (link).

I missed the one this weekend because my car's in the shop... I'll be at the Nov 15-16 event without my Z (just as an instructor), and I hope to be back with my Z at the december event. Here's a video from earlier this year:

Goto TWS, best track in the area in my opinion. I'll be there this comming weekend Nov 15-16. Unfortunatly I'm seriously contemplating not going for the last event in December (buying a house, need the cash). My head hurts just thinking about it . Anyone want to spot me?

I can't handle doing two HPDE's in a row so I skipped the last weekend (did an autoX instead, less prep and maintenance) and I'm going with TDE this weekend. Personally though, I like the TWS Club better (possibly because I'm in a higher run group )
