Suggestions for Track Wheels (Pannonia Ring)
@bighungrydewees: yummy ... look's great, but i think the rear wheels are to widely ... hmmm ... what offset of the 8x10 do you drive?!

i think beau's setup has the idea behind, that he can interchange his wheels from rear to front and so on ... because i will take 275/35 in front and 275/40 rear (so that i have no problems with the vdc) the benefit of the same width is zero ...
hmmm ... so there is no benefit, if i run 10x18 instead of 9x18 in the rear with the same tirewidth (275/40)?
Keep in mind when your shopping for wheels that you may run across a few 9.5" wide wheels. I think that's a great width for 275's.

The Work wheel is just a suggestion since it comes in the right offsets.
well ... slowly i understand ... after reading this thread pages ( https://my350z.com/forum/autocross-r...e-sizes-3.html ) and your comments
so the recommended rim-width for an 275 tire is 9.5 ... but in front that rim-dimension is nearly a little bit to much, isn't it?!
in that way i think about the following combo:
F: 9.0x18et30 with 275/35/18
R: 9.5x18et?? with 275/40/18

I've heard of people running a 9.5" wide wheel with +30 offset. That would be VERY close to hitting the suspension though, but apparently it works.

I'm PRETTY sure a 9.5 +25 offset would NOT stick out past the fender even with factory camber. The calculator I referenced says it would stick out 11mm farther than my current setup. I'll do a quick measurement next time I go outside.
I don't think there would be any benefit to running a wider wheel in the back. It would just make the tire look stretched while the front looks normal.

Ok, just checked. Eyeballing where the top edge of the wheel sits in relation to the fenders, it's close. I'd estimate about 5mm clearance before the top edge of the wheel is sticking out beyond the fender. Probably all comes down to how strict the rules are in Austria. With a little added camber it would be fine most likely.
beau ... i have to say ... many thanks to you!!!! ... for that reason, i am right ... my setup above will be the right one to clear all rules in austria ... unfortunately the authorities here are very strict ...

No problem. My tires/wheels are definitely inside the wheel wells so you should be fine even with strict authorities. Much more than this and it may be pushing it. Better safe than sorry if you are spending that much money.
I really hate to correct Jetpilot because he's damn near always right and I've personally learned alot from his suggestions and comments. But I believe the Advan's are made by Mackin/Rays.http://www.mackinindustries.com/md/y...aoriginal.html

If you look at the inside of your wheel you will see stamped into the casting "MAT". MAT is Enkei' proprietary patented rim making processs used exclusively by Enkei.
There was also an article written by OG in his blog about visiting the Enkei manufacturing plant and talked about how several different wheel lines were manufactured there.

Mackin Industries is an importer not a manufacturer. They import ADVAN and Ray's.
