Debate: Bolt in vs full cage vs factory safety for HPDE vs TT vs W2W
I will make one comment to put this in perspective...
Proper design and installation is far more important regarding roll cage safety and effectiveness then the chassis attachment method. A bad roll cage is a bad roll cage and it doesn't matter how its attached to the chassis. In an accident it will most likely be 60lbs. of debris rattling around in the car with you.
I'll take a properly installed Kirk bolt-in cage over a welded cage made out of ERW tube and welded in with a stick.
