Default steering question

Noticed the z steering wheel is alot more sensitive than what ive been used to driving. I heard the z came with speed sensitive steering, is there any way to disable that or to make the steering wheel feel less sensitive?

If you car is handling poorly/just feels wrong..you likely have a problem.
It could be a simple alignment issue..tire pressure, or ????

ya.........sounds like you need a simple maintenance check......maybe ride along with a service tech..........at worst you probably need an alignment, but everything you described doesn't really give a clear picture as to their being a problem..

ok maybe worded it wrong, its only at higher speed turns ie freeway change ~70mph+ the steering wheel is responsive but the feel is numb.

What dfo you mean by numb??
At higher speeds(70+) you should barely need to move the steering wheel at all for turning or shifting lanes.

On my DD it is soo much more movement to do this. If you are moving more then an inch to shift lanes in a 350 something is not right.

So what are you looking to do, make it less responsive?

I love the way the car feels at high speeds in corners, great on-center and good feedback IMO.

What tires are on your car right now?

Hydraulic.

Tires might be part of the problem, but otherwise, there isn't a ton of feedback, the system is well damped IMO.

My old car had electric steering and it sucked for feedback, it was like driving by remote control. This car feels great in comparison.
