Road Racing question
Best story I have along those lines...
A good friend (Erik) is a pro racing driver and also driving coach. One of his clients scheduled a day's coaching session at a Viper Days event. Erik talked me into bringing my 240Z to the event for some fun but it only had one seat installed so Erik couldn't use it as his instructor car. Because he had enough miles with Avis, he rented a full boogie pimp mobile Cadillac, white on white with a white vinyl roof and whitewall tires. He used that Caddy as his instructor car.
Well, Erik is a pretty competitive guy and ended up passing a lot of the Vipers on track that day in his big white pimp daddy car. It got so bad that the event organizer pulled Erik aside and told him to stop doing that. The paying customers were getting upset.
There's a youtube video somewhere of the pimp daddy car passing three Vipers under braking into turn 1 at Willow Springs. I'll look for it.

^^All Good points^^
RTA is definately best suited for those with track experience. The idea is to keep the organization as open and inviting to all. RTA doesn't pretend to be a full service HPDE operation, although some basic instruction is available as needed.
Those looking for track coaching, are definately better off working with an organization such as Speed Ventures.
