Default HPDE weekend Pads. Need weekend rotors too?

Hey guys, I'm looking to upgrade my pads for my next HPDE. I been reading how people change out their street pads the day of or the day before the event for their track pads. Are these people changing out their rotors too? So you would need a set of track pads and track rotors?

Thanks for the help in advance.

No, Rotors are fine as long as they last. Keep an eye out for cracking and warping though.

Ok, that's what I figured. I had read this on the Carbotech website:

Question:
Do I have to resurface (turn) the rotors, or get new rotors?

Answer:
If you have had another manufacturers brake pads on those same rotors; then you will ABSOLUTELY have to replace or resurface (turn) those rotors before installing the Carbotech brake pads.

If the rotors and drums are in relatively good condition, meaning they are smooth, flat, with no visible cracks, deep scoring, distorted, and with no other visible damage; and you have ONLY had Carbotech brake pads on them, then they do not have to be resurfaced or replaced.

I would. I do now myself with separate rotors. Well worth it to keep your daily pads and rotors seated on that same rotor.

Solo-350Z, do you have all of the pads and rotors labeled so that the front right rotor always has the same front right pads and so on?
