Going to FATT or NASA at Summit Point?
Anyone going to join me at Friday at the Track next week, Oct. 17 (my birthday!)?
What about Nov. 7?
Don't forget that you have a pretty good chance (IMHO) of getting into FATT without pre-registering, even though the Web site says there's a waiting list. Just get there by 8 am. This is especially true if the weather is iffy. Don't let rain keep you away. You learn a lot in the rain! Only once have I seen people turned away, and that was at a hot, sunny, August session, when everyone was on vacation and could come on a Friday.
And if you don't get in, you can either go home and work half a day, or hang out with us, see a bunch of cool cars and nice guys, and take a ride with me in one of my sessions. How bad could it be?
I haven't signed up for the NASA event on Nov 1-2, but I'm tempted. It's only $289 for two days, well under the price of two FATTs. (Of course, that's offset a little by the possible cost of a hotel, if I don't feel like driving the 90 minutes home and back Saturday night, Sunday morning).
Anyone up for that one?

I used to run a Factory Five Cobra with NASA too, sold it earlier this year. Check it out here: http://www.krichbaum.net/specracer/index.htm
I'd like to track my z, but there's no way until I can get some brakes on the thing.
I wonder if I've seen your car at NASA events last year then...
Well good luck!
So you're selling your Procharger? Why? Any other plans for the Z or has all your expendable income gone towards your AI Camaro?
All I have to say is don't overdrive the course like the AI guys did at the AI race last Nov, where they ran that beautiful XJ200 off the track numerous times...
Well good luck!

The thing I don't like about NASA is the cause of what you saw last year with the Jag. They're a little too laid back IMO and you end up with some people racing w2w that probably aren't quite ready yet. I was out on the track with those guys on that Saturday with a toasted motor. That Jag probably caught some of those guys by surprise, it was fast as hell!
