I bought Enkei RPF-1s in 17x9.5 +38. These are a big aggressive for the Z33, but will fit with a tiny spacer. I bought this offset b/c they fit my Z32 and Z33 with the spacer. If I bought them specifically for the Z33, they would not fit the Z32. I have a full set of 275 Hoosiers, but if I can sell them, I'll probably get 295s.

Back OT about the 17x10 +25 FNs. I'm >< close to getting a set for the 350. The seller also has 295 and 315 A6 tires available, but looking at the pics Axelerate posted, it doesn't look like there is room for any increase in tire size given the offset. Can any of you guys with this set-up chime in with your thoughts for fitting more tire? I'm thinking a 295 may fit the rear, but would rub in the front.

Should fit no problem , they are 35 series right, still shorter that stock tire height.

They are 35 series, so yes - both are shorter than the stock 26.4" tire. My concern is if the extra width will hit the suspension upright on the inside or stick out past the fender on the outside.

It will fit the rear no problem, you might wanna run a 5mm spacer on the front to keep the tire from rubbing on the knuckle.

hey orangeflash, nice to see your pics posted up, looks good
i see the difference between yours and mine, looks like the model name
of the wheel on your spokes is engraved in the wheel compared to a
white decal on mine, also looks like your center cap is a little bit
different

thanx man, I didnt even notice the different centercaps. I ended just settling on the 255's for the fronts becuase it was gonna take forever to get some 265's.

I'm interested in running this setup on the street but would fear of rubbing from the 275 front tire and feel that it would be wiser to use maybe the 17x9 with a 255/40 tire but the only problem is the 17x9 comes in a +15 offset or +35. Do you guys think the +15 offset rim would fit alright. I'm going to be using a coilover type suspension so I guess my next question would be what kinda camber should I run on the street to keep the tire wear down to a minimum on the front and rear. Strangely enough I see that the original poster is in Virginia Beach with me. Thnx

I missed this the first time around. If you had a 10mm spacer with the 275 tire and it rubbed slightly, wouldn't that imply that a 295 tire (20mm wider) would also rub? The inside would be exactly where your set-up is withOUT the spacer (I assume that works), but the outside would be where your 275 set-up is WITH the spacer (which you said rubs slightly). Does that make sense?

He said the 17x10 +25 front does not rub with a 275. As an alternative, you could get the 17x9 with a smaller tire, but I'd rather have the ability to rotate.

I know he can fit 275 on his fronts but he also may be running more camber in the front for them not to be rubbing the fender. I intend for this car to be mostly driven on the street so I may want to run less camber to keep wear down.

Not neccesarily since the tire will only be 10mm wider on the outside edge and it also depends on how low your car is. Since all tires are sized and shapped different it's hard to say. Some might be more square shaped, while others will be rounded off.

Mine only rubbed once under full compresion while on a "skid pad".

It will be right around an inch drop nothing to crazy. Still toying around with the stock suspension and modding it ever so slightly as I learn how to drive the vehicle. I have the coilovers and hotchki swaybars currently just not installed yet. I still need to order my spl rear camber and front control arms.

This is what happens with stock shocks and springs:

You need camber in order to get anything really good cornering.

Front Upper A-arms are the key.

I'd even say change those before sways, damper and springs.
