I ran with these tires for the first time yesterday. Weather was cold and the tires never really did heat up. I've got 265s Front and 295s rear on the stock v.2 track wheels (18x9, 19x10).
They were much better than the REO50s that were on the wheels before, but that isn't saying much. The car did grip better than I was used to, but I still drove terribly.
I decided to not mess with the air pressure on this first outing. I started the first run at 36psi front and rear. The pressure only topped out at 38-39 by the fourth run. Based on how I handled the apexes, I think I may need to bring the rear pressure up a tad and hold the front at about 37psi. I may also soften the front sway bar a smidge. Rear is stock.
Anyway, I was happy with the tires even though I haven't got the experience to tell much.
BTW, Ruff Z drove really, really well at yesterday's event. He and his co-driver made their new Solstice fly through the course.

just used these tires as well at the track yesterday on stock track wheels v1 255/35 front and 265/35 rear, car felt great, rear end felt in control when slipping would recommend these to everyone only problem is price, about $250-300 per tire. Was doing ~1:30 on streets of willow

A stiffer rear sway would be a great idea. Unfortunately, it is not allowed in Stock classes. The increase in tire size in front helps reduce the understeer quite a bit. I'll adjust tire pressure a bit first and then possibly back off the front stiffness setting just a bit. I want to see how they perform on a little warmer day though.
Dave, those are the same tire's I will be running this year. Sounds like a good choice. I wouldn't be able to see how they perform untill the first BSSC event in March though.

Yeah, missed you Sunday. I got lucky and my schedule worked out that I should be able to make it to all three Slush events. I'm going to be gone for the BSCC practice day on the 14th however. I also will be out of town for BSCC #1. The races on the Monday holidays are always "iffy" as well. It depends on whether my wife has other plans for me. ;-)

Did you need more rear rotation? Next time mark the tires along the edge and on the sidewalls and see how much roll over you are getting. That's honestly the best determination for tire pressure in autoxing.

Yeah, I didn't bring my chalk with me yesterday. What I'll next time is bring the tire pressures on the high side, then mark and adjust each run. That is what I did with the stock tires and it gave me a pretty good idea.

Update: I had AutoX number two on these tires today. It was dry, started out very cold (30 degrees), but sunny. By the afternoon it was 50 degrees. I found that 40psi in the front, and 38psi in the rear seemed about right. The grip was great.
Again, v.2 track wheels, 265 in front and 295 in the rear, Hotchkis adjustable sway in front set at one down from stiffest. Very, very little understeer. I like it.

I was impressed for a couple seconds.
