Default Will 17x9 +22 rims fit over stoptech st40's?

Was lucky to find a set of ST40 calipers locally, for a very good price, and am currently chasing up the rest of the bits for a 332mm BBK for my 03 touring.

Question is as above. Will 17x9 +22 Buddy Club P1's fit over them? I have a mate selling a set, and want some 17" track rims...

Yes, I know that I can download a template etc, but I am, and will be, away from home for awhile due to work, so cant really print, paste, compare etc....

So if anyone could help out it would be appreciated.

Cheers
Shane.

P.S Have used search but came across no definite answers.

Maybe. Go to the StopTech website and print out the ST40 cutout, then place it in your mate's wheel. Most 17s do fit, but some have funky barrels (like the RPF1), so they don't fit.

His rotor is bigger than 9" and where do you get 9" wheels, the smallest ive ever seen are 12's.

Yes, it will fit. Actually, you can go as high as about +35 before the face of the wheel starts to get close to the caliper. Of course, this will also depend on the wheel design too.

My setup with 17x9 +35 and ST40 332mm kit.

True, I know with the rpf1's you couldn't get away with +35 on a 9" wide wheel.

The only way to know for sure is to make the template available from the Stoptech website then place the template inside the wheel.

Nor the 17x9.5 +38 RPF1 even with spacers unless one ran small tires.

Cheers guys,

I have sent my mate the cutout and he thinks it should fit. may be a little tight apparently, but his scissor skills may leave a little to be desired.
