Question Does anyone use Enkei RPF-1 17x9.5 +18 on FRONTS?

Like the subject states I am wondering if anyone here uses Enkei RPF-1's 17x9.5 on the FRONTS? I am interested to know how you cleared the fenders without any rubbing issues?

Thanks

Yes. I have 3 degrees of negative camber, but probably don't even need that much.

Dang! How did you fit 275 in fronts? Do you track your car or just street driving? If you drive at track you "should" see a lot of rubbing. Any others changes to your suspension?

Do you track your car?

If you see my other thread in this forum - we are discussing about needing too much camber to clear the wheels of any rubbing on the fender. I'll have to re-check everything and try to see if I can bump down the camber up front.

My 03 is track only. I used to drive it to and from the track, but now I have a trailer, so don't even do that anymore. Even though it is lowered (JIC coilovers), I have NEVER had a rubbing issue. Quite honestly, it looks like its not even that close!

I run 285/30-18s on the front of my '06. 275s should fit just fine.

+1. I have all kinds of room with a 265 (18x9 +20 RPF1) on the front of my car at -2.7 camber.

I have SPL V2 A-Arms and my car from stock has both Large and small shim blocks removed to clear the wheels - OR so I was told the by the shop.

I am going to try and bump it down (reduce camber in front) and see if it will work fine. I currently have 255-40 up front.

295's will fit up front also, on the correct wheel and with neg camber. I have run 295's at all four before, very neutral.

I run a 265/40/17 tire with a 17x10+18 rpf1 no rubbing issues at -1.8 camber in the front. Used on track and street just fine no rubbing.

+1. I was just running 295/30/18s all around as well, and am in the process of seeing if a square 305 set-up will fit for autox.

As I understand it the 17" RPF1 does not clear a brembo rotor. Is that not true?

Depends on the offset and wheel width. These are 17x9.5s at +38 with spacers.

17x9 +22 DOES NOT clear the brembos. I know this by experience
I did not want to use spacers at the track.

Thanks for the pics Scott, i know they will now clear my 14inch wilwood kit. Yes the +18 will be close to the spokes but the caliper is spaced further out in the thinner spoke area.

You're very welcome. It's not often that I can supplement knowledge that you don't already know or have.

The front spacers were about 10mm in total thickness, and you can see the clearance. That's a 15mm in the back, but I don't think all 15mm was necessary. The problem was the front. I've gone all 18" now with RPF1s, so the clearance problems have all but gone away.
