Default Motorsport electronics...what would you like to see?

So we are getting ready to expand the types of products we carry and would like to know you would be interested in.

We are looking at new video options, communications, etc.

Anything specific that you have been looking for or would like to find new options on a product type?

I don't know alot about suspension data logging but I would imagine something reasonably priced to go along with RC might be useful. I would imagine the motorcycle guys you market to would also be interested.

How about an integrated display to display lap times and data on the nav screen or aftermarket radio/screen. I have been trying to find something but have not had any luck.

hmm...that one might be really hard because you would need a way to communicate the data to the head unit, and the head unit would have to understand the data and have a defined display format for it.

Yeah, That what I thought, If some one could just add a RCA hookup to the display unit. It was worth a shot. Do you see a problem if I mount the current one from MH Motorsports in the cubby where the nav currently is? Do you guys plan on changing the current lap timmer? I am looking at getting one from you but if there is going to be an updated one coming i may just wait.

No real changes for a while. We just did a 1.41 release a few months ago with the 10hz update. The timer should work just fine anywhere in the car.

BTW, there is a way to get one for free now.....take a look at our Tell-A-Friend deal.

Additional datalogging would be nice to see at a reasonable pricepoint. I haven't done my research on whats actually out there, but something that keeps a log of temps (oil, water, LSD, etc) I could find useful. Obviously the sensors are the tricky part there, and I can always look down mid lap to see the static values at any time, but I would love to see average temps over a session as that can help with car development.

Additionally maybe speed/wheel sensors on the rear for LSD tuning.

And a laptimer that doesn't go on a phone! :P All I have is a locked work BB

You may want to check out our website

We have a stand alone system that can at least record all OBDII and CAN data with your lap data. We were hoping to have the analog data logger ready this month but ran into delays. Not sure when it will be ready.

Here are many of the PIDS we can record:
