portable tire inflator
I attempted to search but not many were found.
What do you guys use for portable tire inflator?
I'm looking for one around $20 that has coiled hose which has the chuck thing at the end, and connects to either battery or cigarette lighter.
Homedepot has Goodyear i3000 12v tire inflator for $19. Dunno if I should go for it or look around more for coiled hose andbetter look lol
thanks
auto stop feature would be nice

Bigger the better, sucks waiting around for 20 minutes per tire.

The Goodyear i7000 is pretty good. Another option is a 140 PSI air tank you can recharge at home or at a shop...or a portable 120V 2 or 5 gallon compressor for about $50 bucks

I have a BMW 328i with Run Flats, so I carry one of these in the trunk. This one has a long hose and DC cables...

They have many options, from cheapo to decent...

The biggest issue with the 12V ones is time. Because the flow rate is so small it takes forever just to bump 2 to 5 psi in a tire.
For air tanks I would look at the Northern Tool and Harbor Freight brands. They will work just fine as long as you stay 10+ PSI under their max.

All those 12-volt compressors take forever to add a couple of pounds of pressure to four tires. I use my bicycle floor pump (pumps air about 10 times faster). My bike has a small frame pump on it for roadside repairs, but I keep a large floor pump in the garage and it does double duty for bikes and topping up the cars.
