IN for Sprints & Enduro

 

I am registered for the Friday test/tune and the weekend sprint races in PTA. Looking forward to finally meeting you guys! Let me know if you need help fueling during the enduro John, I obviously have all the gear necessary.

Not looking forward to the 680 mile tow though

 

Very Cool! I am considering running the T@T Friday to work my handling issues... Even If I don't run T@T I will be there preparing for the Enduro. I plan to go up Thursday night and be at the track early Friday. Likely staying at the Holiday Inn Express...need to make reservations today.

I co-own the car with Doug Haymes, and the Enduro will be his 1st W2W race ever! So this will be a big deal for "Laze Fox Racing" Doug might run HPDE 3 Sat @ Sun, as he normally does...but I believe he has a scheduling conflict.

I think we are staying at the Comfort Inn, it was 65 bucks a night or so. Ill be getting in Thursday some time around 10pm or so.

 

If that is the hotel @ Hwy 985 and hwy 53...and I think it is ...it is pretty nasty...

 

Just booked the Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Braselton, GA...Staying Thrusday nite - Sunday

 

I went with whatever had the NASA rate...oh well lol

 

THis could be fun considering I haven't been back to RA in about 5 years...

While I got knocked out of contention by a bone head move into turn 6 on my part, then by a spec miata later on (thanks dude) I got to see some good races from other classes.

My season ends in my region at Road America in October. I would love to come down to RA in December and meet you guys. I've never ran that track before either and it is pretty high on my bucket list. It is about 8 hour drive for me.

How is the weather down there in December?

 

Variable...could be 40....could be 70.

 

I'm about 80% sure I am coming down for the December event. Just so long as the car stays together and work is still busy.
