Letīs Talk About Handling!!!
Ok... since I recently got my 350z and went 3 times this year with this car to the Race Track (Road Course), I noticed some little inconvenients when racing on High Altitudes... POOR POWER... so, yes, many said, Put a SC or TT on it... but it will loose the precious feeling of a N/A car and will need to upgrade Too many parts, also for a Daily driver I consider too much money for some fun...
Here is the Deal... I know there is a lot of you guys doing Autocross and Road Course Racing for fun and professional with 350z cars that can share us some information... The idea of this post is to Start with the most Cost-Effective Handling or Braking parts... Not to say brands and stuff... just parts, and in a 100% handling improvement, wich part do you guys think has what % from that total %...
I think that maybe Camber kit has a 30% since is not expensive and improves a lot handling.
Springs a 20% (obviously this or coilovers)
Coilovers 40%
Sway Bars 20%
wheel spacers 10%
Tires and Wheels are not on the list... this is a Daily driver remember... Go-Race-Go home.
Regards!

Wheels and tires should be first as others have said. We are not saying an extra set of wheels and tires but a decent set of lighter weight/wider wheels and a set of good performance street tires.
If you are running stock wheels and an a/s performance or mid-range performance tire, you will see true gains by changing to a wider set of enkei's or other cast wheel that are lighter than stock. Throw on some Direzza Star Specs, Kuhmo XS or Nitto NT-05 (all street tires) and have fun.
Also, if you don't have a good differential, I hear they help quite a bit...wouldn't know how much since I bought my car used and it came with one.

Im not understand your % connections
If you are trying to arive and some sort of % ratio of importance to an actual number, well over 50% of handling is the capability of your tires. The rest is all relatively insignificant if your tires are lacking.
Like any other modification, or series of modications you do, it starts and stops with budget and ultimate goals.
When you say "race", you have to define what that means. Depending on the layout of the track, and your skill level, it will determine how effective, or ineffective, the modifications will be

to the above. IMHO the NT-05's are the best Nitto street tire. The NT-01's are a good step up from that and are an excellent R-comp tire.
Add me to the "tires" list.
Figure out which sticky street tires (and sizes) you can live with, and go from there.
Think of your tires as the foundation on which you will build your suspension.

For me tires first then seat time. When I was driving with the bad tires that came on my car they were so unpredictable even over the span of an autocross course that it was hard to learn anything about handling.
Since I got the tires seat time has been the most helpful.
