Count the wrongs in this video....

I can't imagine being out on a track with a group like this. Even if a person has no other track experience, I'm at a loss to explain how anyone could see this as acceptable. The obvious disregard for safety, of both the drivers and the spectators, should have raised red flags in anyone's mind about taking their car (or a borrowed ride) into this circus.

The CSCS event is the largest track event in the Toronto area. By largest, I mean most people... which subsequently means where all the ricers and kids take their parents cars out and push it to it's limit when it's fully not capable.
if you watch the video above ^ , there are many many MANY stock cars there, and those that aren't stock are just ricers driven by kids. There are only a few actual track cars driven by mature adults, not to mention wear a helmet.
CSCS is infamous for stuff like this. It's a half car show/meet, half track day, and it really is a sad sight to see.
All the ricers I know are all like "CAN'T WAIT TO RIP IT UP AT CSCS THIS YEAR"
While all the adults with proper cars (STI, RX7, Z's, S2k etc.) are all like "i'm glad i don't go to this ****"
Seriously, it's like a honda meet turned track event

This is one of the main reasons I started Asphalt Ventures... to provide the service of running track days for clubs who don't have the experience.
My first thought was that this was some parade laps during a more organized event... sounds like that's not the case though.

The organizers should be ripped new ones.
1. People in the hot pits.
2. People at the track side wall.
3. Hay bales as barrier protection.
4. No corner workers visible for that last turn.
5. Driver's stopping on track and blocking track.
6. Driver's exiting their cars on track.
7. Spectators walking out onto the track.
8. Driver's and passengers not wearing helmets.
9. Driver's and passengers not wearing long sleeve shirts.
10. Driver's and passengers wearing open toe shoes.
If the sanctioning body's insurance company sees this, they are are done.

please don't wear flag colors on grid! many tracks use grid (control) as a flagging station in addition to the staffed corner worker stations.
good drivers are always looking for, basically everything. If they see yellow it takes them an aditional second to process that it is an idiot wearing a yellow hat and not a yellow flag.
Same to be said for the idiot wearing a red tshirt on grid; however, in this instance it is somewhat appropriate cause that was the only red flag i saw flying during that issue.
So if you frequent your local track, and I suggest you do, wear white, beige, orange, or some other no-flag color. same to be said for hats.
