will my front tires fit? (275/45/18)
Well basically, I got a STEAL on 4 hankook C51 tires 275/45/18. Since I was able to get all 4 cheaper than buying 2 normally, I snagged them in hopes that I can use them on all 4 wheels.
So I'm curious if anyone has used that aggressive of a size tire on the front of a 350z before. I have new 9.5'' wheels on the way for them, so I just need to know if they have any issues with turning... Will they scrub... Or do I need a spacer. ny help would be great

Yeah I would rather them be 35 but at $500 for 4 of them, I couldn't say no... Even if I only used them for the rear. So you think I will have an issue with it being a fatter tire? The car still sits at the stock NISMO height.
Also the wheels come in either +20 or +30. I was thinking of going with +20 unless you think I need to go with +30

I know my rear tire stock was the 265/35/19... I wasn't sure how different they will be. This is actually my first adventure into testing race tires. Usually I always stick with stock or near stock sizes

Even if they fit on front, I imagine you would definetely have problems with rub through turning or suspension movement.
Rears might fit but yes, gearing would be off. You can always check the change in wheel/tire size and what difference it makes in overall diameter here http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
It is a great tool that I have used many times

Ok so according to the chart, my new tires will be 1 inch taller than my stock, which shouldn't be an issue for the rear. But your right that the circumference will end up being 3.7 inches more. I'm hoping this won't mess me up too much....
Just my biggest worry is if I scrub fender when I turn in the front

LOL!
That's a releif. I love the 275f/275r setup. It's what i'm currently running and it feels like the Z is much more balanced.
good luck nismo! You may want to roll the rear fenders if you havent yet.
That is if you want to run a total of +10mm offset (using spacers) at the rear. It makes the 275's sit flush.
