Best spring/shock combo???
^^^ Well I have all winter to save but I still want to stay around 1k or cheaper. So, I'll probably get the shocks before spring and run them with the Tein springs for a while and see how that does. The Teins are decently stiff and have done me well for the last 5 or 6 years.
The T2's I think will be way too much for me. The car is driven on the road more than at the track or autox and keep in mind I just do that for fun.

As it turns out TrueChoice Koni is right down the road from me. I think im going to go talk to them before I do anything. As of now im thinking the Koni Yellows and the springs I have are more in my budget for now. Eventually pick up a set of Swift springs.
Good choice
Koni yellows with stock springs
If you must have a drop I would go with Tein S-tech or RSR
I do not see the point in the Swift springs because they aren't that much stiffer then oem
I especially do not see the point in progressive springs like the Gf210 or Swift Spec-R.
Truechoice phase I = Koni yellows with Eibach prokit (pass)
Truechoice phase II = Koni yellows with Eibach ERS springs and adjustable for height
Truechoice Phase III = Same as Phase II, but modified for double adjustalbity ( adjusble for rebound and compression Same spring setup as phase II
Truechoice Phase IV same as Phase III but with race valving and shock bodies and piston rods are shortened 1"
Spring rates for phase III and IV are
500/425 (I have no idea what the phase II setup uses.
I owned the Phase IV setup and they were the best performing setup I've owned to date. The ONLY reason I sold them was they were the WORST ride quality for commuting on the freeway.
Another setup I had was Koni Yellows that I made simple front spring seats for that allowed me to run a Tein tapered spring that used the oem upper shock mount. I ran them in the front with a 448lbs spring rate. I gave me a .5" drop. For the rear I ran oem 427lbs rear springs on a shaved upper spring seat to net a .5" drop. Nice rate increase over oem, linear springs and the rates are withn the capacity of the Koni's.
Just to say it, Anze engineering does have a rebound adjustable Pensked 8100 setup valved for Nissan Motorsports T2 springs for $2100

Haven't read the entire thread (feeling lazy) but I run Tein S-Tech's with Koni Yellows which I felt have performed well on track days, auto-x's and are still quite comfortable for city/freeway driving.
Being able to at least adjust rebound allowed me to tune the car to the way I liked. Only thing is I wish I was slightly lower, but maybe that's a bad idea for the Michigan pot-hole roads lol
