Things I want to know
Will the shock's be V3 units with a welded on oem sized lower mount in the front or something new?
Spring rates on both setups
Will the coilover use rear lower control arm location or will they go with a true rear setup?
Dyno's

Not leaving much time for people to make changes either. Hell, even here in the mid-atlantic the first event at VIR is only a few weeks away. This information cannot come out soon enough for most folks.

If you are in the market for a trash car take a look at www.copart.com They have auction sites all over the country.

The way it's going my guess is the first real event won't be until June, or at least with a sizable field.

First, the number of 350Z's at track events in this region is miniscule, and of all the various organizations, NASA has the least!!!!! (actually, usually none!)
Secondly, the few of us who are "regulars" have taken our cars WAY past the point of no return in terms of ever possibly getting back to "spec".
So I think the series will depend almost entirely on potential new owners rather than any existing pool of drivers.
I don't think that makes success impossible, but I think it makes it difficult to say the least.
A VERY strong marketing effort will be required.

I hope I am wrong, but I have a hard time seeing this taking off in the Mid-A, at least for a couple of years.

I think I am about past the turning back point. I change my mind everyday. Unless some of the rules change...i.e needing dash, blower fan, heater core and staggered wheels...it's just not feasible for me.

On the bright side there seems to be a lot of interest in previous 350Z owners that moved on to another car because there wasn't a place where the 350Z was competitive, or they are in a non-NASA sactioning body and want to move.

Saw it on Twitter earlier today.

As I think about this some more, I wonder would Nissan/NASA be open to the idea of a "modified" 350Z class to run along with the spec guys?
Maybe the concept could be along the lines of the American Iron vs American Iron Extreme, but without the major horse power differences you see in that class.
It might help to jump start the series.
Just a thought!
