If im reading the rules correctly, you can use the spec stuff or stay stock right? So wavetrac, wheels, cage at a minimum. Will the kws be needed to maintain rear tire contact due to helical diff? I think wavetracs looking to be oe diff on next gen z.

Looks like I missed the boat on this one. Just got the Moton Clubsports and gutted the dash.
Would have been nice to have the option to run in this class sometime in the future. Too bad they're limiting the suspension. Also in classes where they're trying to limit costs I don't understand why you can't gut a car more. This is one of the lowest cost mods for a do it yourselfer. The lower weight also reduces wear and tear.
Anyway, no turning back now. Trying to go faster at the local is a disease.
Good luck with the new series.

In any case I am highly considering the sale of my G35 now, but I still want to see some clarification on the rules first.

I saw that too and immediately thought Nismo-Z! I read another section stating something about the general use of oem parts which I assume means the brembos can be equipped on non-brembo cars. I wonder if that allows for tricks like murano wheel bearings?

I am thinking the same thing. Even at RA there is a lot to be gained at the braking zone at 10 and 6, plus if you can cary more speed up the hill at 1-3 you can make up a lot of time.

Yes, Spec Z competitors will be allowed to upgrade to Brembo brakes (as used on the track, GT and NISMO 350Z USDM models) and NISMO bodywork (if you can afford it). But other "tricks" like using Murano wheel bearings will NOT be allowed, unless there's a change to the rules.
What about using all OEM motors? My 03' has a rev-up.
