1:24.xx, WITH the kink - wow. His cool down lap is almost as fast as my best lap.

 

Looks like the track record is an Audi R10 at 1:21....not sure if that is the exact course, though.

Funny thing is, an 03-04 works car with schumi (in 03-04) at the wheel is probably 10+ seconds faster...

 

better than ****. period.

 

Also, when hes getting in the car and leans back in his seat, the black hans device over his white suit makes it look like hes wearing a bowtie. Way to keep it classy Mr Moeller!

Whoa! I did not know they were building a whole new track for this!

 

There is talk of a New Jersey GP next year too.

 

2013 for Jersey....pretty sure it's a done deal.

I live about 15 minutes from the track here in Austin, It is going to be one hell of a track. they have already started building the track. The owner of the track had a open house meeting this weekend people could attend about the details of the track at my school. I saw him talking but wasn't able to attend since I had class. From what I understand the NewJersey deal is not a done deal yet, they are actually waiting to see how it does in Austin first.

Plus Austin > Newjersey

 

Sweet, I think NJ is a little closer than TX, so I can make it a family vacation!

Wow, I always wonder what the F1 drivers drive at home on a daily basis. Must feel weird getting behind the wheel of something slower. Like trying to jump on land after jumping on the trampoline.
