Default VDC failsafe mode, *with speed limiting*?

I've read the threads. Searched. Just want to make sure I'm not going to run into any unforseen problems before I jump in.

SO we have all been there. All day at the track with VDC button off.
VDC off and SLIP lights come on. I also get the (!) brake button and lose ABS.

Which is a huge pain in the *** because I find the rear locks up on a whim of even maybe thinking about braking. (apparently it goes to 50/50 bias)

But the thing I have not read anywhere else is, my speed is limited to 160km/h when this happens!

So I just wanted to make sure installing the VDC cut off switch with save my ABS for now until I can get a system to fix the bias properly sorted out.

And I won't be limited to 160 kmh/ 100 mph if i cut the wire...

Here is a video of this happening to me all of a sudden last year on a time attack run... disregard the subtitles as i didn't understand at the time what was happening. Wasn't a fuel problem at all. The engine is just cutting at 160 and it has done this multiple times if I look back at data and video.

Sorry for still being a newb but the help is appreciated.

The fix I have done so far is pulling the battery, and then hooking it back up and driving slowly through the paddock. This clears it. Including the speed governing.

Never seen fuel cut from my ABS light, even at Autoclub Speedway. No problem hitting 140ish MPH with the light on. Tire stagger kills ABS function, I'm just going to remove the ABS pump soon.

You will still have ABS problems running a square setup

I just wanted to make sure that by installing the VDC switch I was going to eliminate the problems with ABS and the speed governing which are my real concerns.

the switch on the VDC wont interfere with the ABS which seem to give you a speed limiter ...
if the ABS is being triggered during your race after you put that switch on, then you might want to look more into an ABS delete since im pretty sure your ABS module is too far off to be able controlling your Z now . (square setup/stickier tire/more aggressive brake pads....)

Never had an ABS problem in my base 2006 with either a square 245, 255, or 285 setup. Set the NASA TTC lap record at Cal Speedway with the 245 Hoosier A6s and braking into turn 3 goes from about 150 to 60.

Have you checked the steering angle sensor?
