Anyway, congrats on such a great turnout; I think that is a significant step forward. The October event at VIR is combined Mid-A and SE regions, so maybe there is potential to set yet another Spec Z attendance record

 

I was just looking at the entrants list, what a turn out! It would be nice to do a photo shoot either Friday or Saturday of all the Z's.

That's really going to be exciting to watch. Who knows, maybe in 3-5 years SpecZ will become more popular like SpecE30.

 

Honestly...I think it will, as Spec E30 is just running out of cars and parts to race... We have one SE30 guy racing with us today, and a second is building a Spec Z for next year...so the move is happening already.

I also have some C5 Vette guys showing interest...

I like the sound of that. Maybe the SCCA guys would show more interest as well, seeing the field grow. More racers, better contingency and more manufacturer support. Can't wait to join the ranks.

Also...The Pellegrini Clan is providing "Cajun Cookout" Friday night after the track goes cold...Beer, jambalaya, etc in the Paddock...So everybody plan on hanging around after the Enduro on Friday!

 

Mmmmm! I love me some Jambalaya.

 

Too bad we won't get there until after 9 on Friday.
