OP here. Webbed seat belt receptacle from Nissan Titan does not fit male end of 350Z seatbelt. Wasted $20 in eBay to find that out.

Not sure what to do about seat belt receptacle. I may try to find one from a 350Z and just bend the solid shaft so that it fits into the hole in the seat.

Why didn't it fit? Male end wider than receptacle?

Width is correct, length seems correct, male end fits all the way into receptacle but it does not click.

Got my seat and wheel installed over the weekend. Here is a pic of how I ended up using the stock belt.

My planted bracket had a little spot for the receiver but my seat is on sliders so I am opting to get the extender I posted earlier.

Nice seat, halo with a stock belt seems odd tho. Might want to keep the airbag.
Dont forget about the pass side, institutor needs protection too!

How do you get the set belt latched? Do you push the latch end through the hole in the right side of the seat or do you latch the belt over the seat edge?

The seat edge on my seat is much lower than yours and I can do it either way. I worry a little about how well it will function if latched over the edge of the seat. If I push the latch through the hole and latch it, I know it will function properly but it is a little fiddly to get to the latch button to unlatch it. That would only be an issue in a fire.

And I agree with the post above. With stock seat belts I'd keep the airbag.

I have no airbag system. Whole thing popped and crushed the sensors in the front of the car. This is just for now until I get the cage installed. Have an impending move and just needed to get the car drivable until then.

Car will only see autocrosses until the cage is installed. Then back to the track. After the accident at Sebring I will not wear a helmet without a Hans device in any situation that the car could become stationary in a hurry. Even with the airbag my neck was killing me for a few weeks.

As for the belt. I bought an extender like I post earlier and attach it to that over the leg bolsters.

So far the resistor trick has worked, but yesterday I removed my seats to install some spacers between rails and seats to get my butt 1/2" up. Being that my seats and rails are "hyper low" I was hitting my right elbow often on the console; no big problem, but I fixed that; spacers worked out well (still sitting a bit lower than stock).

Under seat harness I plugged in seat belts on both seats, plus the weight sensor on pass. seat. Somehow due to removing seats the airbag light was on and blinking when I started the car and drove around. I turned car on/off a few times as I ran some errands, but still red blinking light!

I looked at the you tube vid. that I had posted on pg. 1 of this thread and simply followed the airbag light "reset" instructions and it worked the first time; started car and now light is off. Just wanted to pass the word.

Sorry to revive such an old thread but this was the closest thing I could find after searching.

Has anyone been able to find a webbed seat belt buckle that will work with the driver seat belt? I saw that the Titan and G35 does not work, but am wondering if anyone else has been successful.

Thanks!

I think the OEM seatbelt geometry and function are fine with this seat but I don't think it would be safe on track without the steering wheel airbag.
Late to the party here, great info in this thread re: wiring and deleting the airbag light.

I just want to throw in that when you airbag delete technically you should be wearing a HANS or similar device to prevent basilar skull fractures (more likely using harnesses), and/or general steeringwheel-face carnage (will happen with stock belts). Obv to use a HANS you need harnesses.

Didn't see it mentioned anywhere (plenty recommended keeping the stock airbag), and hate to be 'that guy," lol. Definitely guilty here both on-track and off.
