Default Konig Flow Formed Wheels?

Anyone heard anything about these for track use? They come in at about 60% the price of Enkei RPF1s and weigh 21lbs for the 18x10 +25 wheel.

I know the Enkeis are the defacto standard but the price on these is pretty appealing. Have seen some on cursory glance around $200 a wheel shipped free.

Thoughts? Think they may be a contender for budget conscious? Seems like this form flow stuff is similar to the Enkei MAT process.

I'd rock them......without the Konig center cap.

I mean with the cost savings you could almost buy a set of tires. Doesn't hurt that they look decent.

They remind me a bit of the Enkei Raijin, which is also a cast wheel at a lower price. While the Form Flow technology certainly helps strength and performance, but Konig is still using a cast wheel with some different finishing technology.

BTW- I used the Raijin on my T3 Z33 at last year's Runoffs during a wet session. They performed well in the rain and i won't hesitate to use them again during a race.

From what I can gather the M.A.T. process and the Flow Forming process are actually the same process. Enkei has licensed the technology to Konig to manufacture these wheels. This suggested to me that the Konig wheel should be on par with the Enkei from a strength and durability perspective. The Enkei having an edge in weight most likely due to design. http://konigusa.net/nodisplay/mat-te...wheel-process/

I had a set of Konigs on my SI. 4 years of hard driving and NY potholes and not 1 issue, even with low profile tires.

Has anyone purchased these wheels yet and seen if the quality is comparable to the enkei's? Thinking about yet another set of wheels and these seem like a good buy.

Thanks
