Oh ok. It's louder then normal because its in a garage...if I give the gas a push hard and let off it makes the click but not while just cruising. Only way I could immatate it was how I did it in the video :/

I guess now after reading all this, i understand the issue a bit better. A bad bushing does sound like the culprit. I was thinking that you said it clicks when your turning and accelerating out. What your describing sounds more like the dif is rocking back and fourth

I texted you the same video I posted here lol

But yeah it's just a clicking noise while accelerating from a stop. That or when I gas hard and let off so the rear end kicks back how it did.

I think I'm gonna order SPL diff bushings today or something and put those on anyways. It's something I wanted to do I just have to do it earlier.

Did you have to switch axles with the diff? Cause it sounds like typical 03ish axle clicks. Been hearing that for 40k miles now.

No sir. They shaved the stubs on my stock axles and put them in.

No clue. I guess Nissan warranties diff bushings so maybe if they warranty that at the same time tell them I have axle click and do it all at once? lol.

at dealer- "Sir, your axle click seems to be caused by a malfunctioning differential, it keeps locking up out of corners and putting the power down nicely, were gonna need to warranty a new VLSD for you, no don't thank us!"

LOL

My first question would be why we're you driving aggressively enough to feel it locking up out of corners! haha

Those are the tracks of the diffs tears for not having a shiny finned diff cover. For shame!

Yeah a few things.

I'm going to Nissan on Wednesday to get 2 things looked at under warranty

1) diff bushings
2) axle click

I'm changing the fluid once I get it back (just incase they wanna drain my rear end for whatever reason)

A few things to update. Just changed my diff fluid, this time only 1.5 bottles was used instead of 2 bottles. Im sure betamotorsports was right on that one. The clicking still continues. Someone told me tonight its only "axle click" if you get a clicking sounds going in reverse to forward or something like that? Maybe blown diff bushings? I dont know but whatever it is its been driving me crazyyyyyy. I am changing the diff bushings to see if its blown bushings.....I did notice tonight, it doesnt really do it on accel from stops anymore, it seems the only time it makes the clicking sound now is if I bring up to about 3700-4000rpm in 2nd gear and just let off (so decell?) its a veryyyy light click sound and I can only hear it if my music is off and my windows are both down. The person that said it isnt axle click also said it sounds like the bearings in the diff are bad (which I dont understand how that would be possible, about 4k miles on the diff, fluid has been changed 3x so far - OS GIKEN) but that would suck if it was true...he didnt actual hear the noise though he just assumed. You guys did say it doesnt sound like a diff though so I dont think youd steer me wrong, especially you OGs!

EDIT: just lifted up the rear end, had someone grab one wheel and left it in gear, tried moving the other rear wheel it stays still - doesnt move at all. Its gotta be either axle click or bad bushings or the combo or both..im probably just stressing haha..
