Post your autocross results
I was thinking since there are many of us autocrossing, maybe we could start a thread where people can post their results - similar to all the other "Post your [insert thing here]" threads on the forum.
It's simple: when you finish an event, post your car trim level, class, finishing position in the class and/or overall, PAX, region, date and whatever else might help.
In the hunt to make mine competive in AutoX, it's good to hear how other people are ranking in their respective regions/classes, and it might help people in figuring out if they still have room for improvement or not. Let's see some results!

I finished first in class and top time of non Porsche for my last AutoX with the PCA. I was running in XC-3 and my mods are Nismo header, exhaust, sways, JUN lightweight flywheel, and Stoptech 13" brakekit.
Here is the link to the event results.

After 6 events in this car, a lot of work and experimentation, I finally did it yesterday - FTD!
On the final run, I managed to beat a pair of turboed Miatas (complete with R compounds), by 7/10 tenths of a second. Before that run, we were dicing it out within a couple tenths on a 56 second course.
Mods/class are in the sig. Next year, 275 R compound tires!
Pic from yesterday attached.

8/1 - Sierra Vista, Arizona
Two drivers in B Stock, Street Tire class. Co-driver took first of 13 with a 987 PAX, I took 3rd of 13 with a 978 PAX. Raw times were 6th and 11th fastest overall out of 40 entrants.
Stock Enthustiast w/Falken Azenis. I changed my alignment the day before but did everything *backwards*, as I misunderstood the meaning of "negative toe" - though neg. was in, but instead negative was out. Anyways, 0 front toe, 2mm overall rear toe out with 1° of rear camber. Car was very unstable during hard braking and while lifting at high speeds but was fairly easy to rotate. Still had mild understeer in tight corners. Overall I don't think these alignment settings hurt or helped, just made it handful to drive. Going to try a new alignment setup this weekend.

Thats one heck of a pax.
You generally want positive toe (although zero is nice for the tire wear two and from the track) for the front, the tires point away from each other. The rear should be slight negative or you will kill straight line stability.

7/25 - Tucson, Arizona
2nd out of 13 in Street tire. 974 PAX, raw time was 8th overall out of 70. Stock except 245/45R17 Azenis.
----------------------------------------------------------
So do you mean toe out when you say positive? When I accidently toed out my rear tires the high speed stability went way down. Braking while turning was hard as well.
Stock my alignment was 3mm overall rear toe in, and 3mm overall front toe out. This is the setup I ran for the Tucson event. Tucson had four winding straights reaching speeds of 70-75 on all, the Z was fabulous through those.

For the next event I am going to try zero rear toe, 1° rear camber and 2mm overall toe out in the front.

OK, I run in Houston where we have our own Street Tire classes which are based on the SP classes. Since I'm in the 4 door, I run in STE which is basically ESP with street tires. My car is prepped to legally run in STX nationally and I actually ran in the National tour when it came through Houston in STX (back in April) and took a 4th place trophy out of 10.
My last autocross was the first time for me to place 1st in STE (although our usual ace wasn't there). I PAXed at #23 out of 168. I've slowly been working my way up since I started last year in May. Last year I messed with the car a lot, but this year I've been concentrating on my driving (including an evolution school in April). My last 3 events have yielded 2 seconds and a first, and although our top guy wasn't there, I beat the next guy in class by half a second on a ~42 second course. We usually have between 9 and and 13 in the class and our class leader is in a very well prepped Mustang GT. The other good competitors in our class are WRX's and an Audi S4 (non-V8).
My next event is this weekend, so I hope to have more good results to post soon.
You can check out the past results here:
Houston Region SCCA Solo II Results
Setup includes:
Tein Flex
Cusco Front Sway
Kinetix Camber Arms
TS ECU Upgrade
UR Crank Pulley
350z LSD
Stillen Exhaust
Injen CAI
StopTech Slotted Rotors
Hawk HP+/HPS pads
Stainless Brake Lines
Enkei RP02-J 17x8 Wheels
245/45/17 Falken Azenis Sport

My FTD was the smallest field of the year at ~ 30 although only one of the faster shoes wasn't present (and I've been closing in on him to within .5 seconds last event).
I've got my first Regional coming up in 2 weeks which should draft the quicker runners from Toronto and Montreal. A high quality field of 100 will be expected as these guys will have to travel as much as 4 hrs and stay overnight to compete. It should be a good test.

driverdog you got that right when you say the s2k are bastards around the cones. They probably will be bumped into A Stock next rear due to too many suspension adjustments. Good runs.
