To all my350z.com buddies:

Does any one know how can I get the steel braided lines for my 350z track (brembo brakes), they are NOT THE SAME AS 2003 in the rear, do any one of you had the same problem??

How are the 04 rear lines different from the 03? StopTech makes SS lines, and they are much shorter than the OEM lines, as they bypass a lot of extraneous tubing.

John:

There is a fitting in the rear that is not the same between the 2003 and 2004 I know because a friend of mine has this problem, I believ he has some pictures showing the difference, I will get them today and post post them here.

I installed Stop-Tech on my 2003. As I recall the Nissan stock brake line is much more complicated than the Stop-Tech replacement stainless line. I don't recall whether this was for the front lines or rear lines.

I would contact Stop-Tech and ask if they have the stainless lines for the 2004. I would think that they would be very aware of this difference.

A little off topic, but I just wanted to say those are some beautiful cars you guys have lined up there. It looks even better than normal group pictures of Zs. (Flame shield on) I think it`s cause there are 0 silver ones in the shot.

What exactly is the problem with the fitment? I've heard that the Brembos require a shorter banjo bolt than the stock brakes. If that's the problem you're having, then I believe that Stoptech can send you the shorter banjo bolt that the Brembos require.
