Z goes fast enough stock for most tracks. Problem is that it doesn't want to stop after about half a lap. My issues are with the brakes and the VDC coming into play. Also the car feels heavy to me. In that price range I would seriously look into a S2000. The Z is a good car but, it will soon be replaced by a C6 Z51.
