Just to be clear, it's not that the Spec VR's didn't work well on track, it's just that they seemed to me to work about the same as the Panther +, which didn't squeal and dust as badly. If I were only using them on track, the squealing wouldn't be such a big deal, but I prefer not to have to swap pads before and after track events (yeah, I'm lazy).

So given the choice between the same performance with or without squealing and bad dusting, I choose without.
