I got konked in the head pretty good this morning... its 15 degrees here, and I am tired of needing an extra hand to hold the hatch up while I load my golf clubs in or whatever... What a PITA.

Any updates on this ? I would like to get a set. The website says more sets expected in March, and March is almost over...

These work with a stock hatch, all the way up to a stock hatch with big spoiler. These are 40% stronger than stock, and will prevent your hatch from trying to knock you out as the stock struts wear over time Everything you need for installation is included. The kits feature a pair of struts with black casing and include all required mounting hardware.

I recently received my new stuts from Z1 and they work well, even with the added weight of an aftermarket wing. And they cost much less than OE, so that's a really good thing.

 

Just received my hatch struts today!

20 minute install tops, perfect fit with all new hardware, and one strut is strong enough to hold the (stock) hatch up! Definitely one of the best repair upgrades out there.

correct, they are not polished anymore
