Default DIY: EVO-R 06 Carbon Fiber MT Shifter cover

If you are like me, You are saying to yourself that the cover you recieved is too long and does not fit properly. (I even sent Jay a couple of E-Mails)

I HAVE TO THANK THEATRIX FOR HIS PICTURES AND HELP WITH MY INSTALATION PROBLEMS.. (Good Looking Out)

First thing you need to do is remove the base shift cover by reaching in around the shift boot area and lifting up. The shift handle will need to be removed prior to this. Once you have the cover up reach back and disconnect the two wire connecters (AC Controls & H***ard Lights).

LIFT UP BY THE ARROWS :

Once you have the plastic cover, turn it over and remove all of the screw found on the bottom.. (Sorry for Blurriness)

Once the screws are removed seperate the two pieces..

Take the EVO-R Carbon Fiber Cover and apply the supplied two sided adheasive tape and cover the silver part with the Carbon Fiber cover.

Carefully reasemble the two pieces and reinstall ALL of the screws and shift boot. Re connect the two wire harnesses and pop your new carbon acessory into place..

For your sake, I wouldn't be lifting heavy in the near future. Your spotter may not be there!
