This might be kind of a dumb question, lol...but have any of you scraped your diffusers on the ground?! I'm assuming as long as the front bumper can clear what ever incline your driving up, the rear diffuser should be fine as well right? The only reason I ask is because that diffuser looks like it hangs pretty low

I made my own, I bought a flat piece of metal about 4 ft long (shortest piece they had) with holes in in every 1"-1"1/2(for bolts/nuts/etc.), and it was 2 inches wide. Not sure what the piece is called, but you can find it at almost at hardware store (home depot, lowe's, etc), i think its used for DIY mounting of electric garage door motors/openers. i did some test fitting with the end of the long piece before i cut it, taking into account the slight bends that must be made, cut to length, then used a plier and a vice grip to bend to spec (made minor adjustments on bends, test fit, rinse and repeat until you got your bracket!). As far as mounting points, I used different ones that were closer to the diffuser if i remember right, just make sure its on a sturdy part of the chassis, and not on any moving parts. ill post up a pics if i can snap a couple tomorrow.
hope this helps.

im dumped on stance coilovers, i'd say i have like 4 inches off the ground at the lowest part of the diffuser, and i have yet to scrape the diffuser badly, one ever so slight kiss/drag on a really steep driveway. Stock height i never scraped it. Guess it all depends on where you live, but the roads out here in SW Oklahoma are garbage, im just careful.

Hey Chebesto,
Great write up! Getting the two longer brackets to mount at the right angle has been a bit tricky for us. I guess its hard for the bracket manufacturer to get the right specs.
We do offer this diffuser now if anyone wants to know. An up special request from chebesto.. we will be offering center diverters (center strakes/fins) to compliment this highly demanded piece.

I'm getting ready to install mine from Shine. Doesn't look too bad to install, especially with Chebosto's instructions! I will say that the Shine piece looks like top quality. My V2 bumper is being painted right now from them, too. Gotta get the cobwebs off of my car after 3 years of not driving!
